Really this is just a continuation of Saturday for the band. After the award ceremony the dragon band will pack up any remaining gear, load the trucks and board the charter buses that will take them to the Indianapolis Airport. Pizza will be provided on the bus and students will get a chance to eat something on their way to the airport. It will be VERY late/early.

Once they arrive at the airport students who are on Flight A will check in and proceed through security. Yes, even in the middle of the night All normal TSA security rules and restrictions apply. Students traveling on Flight B will wait in the airport terminal for their flight. There is normally an hour or more between these two flights.

At the Airport - Austin
Once everyone has deplaned, they will proceed as a group to baggage claim and ground transportation. There they will load the buses for the return trip to RRHS. Flight A buses will move to an off site location near the airport and wait for Flight B buses to arrive. Once Flight B arrives all buses will make their way back to RRHS.

Arrive at School
The buses will pull into the high school early on Sunday morning. Students, directors, staff and chaperones will be exhausted. They will need your help to make sure they completely emptied the buses, have everything that they traveled with and are leaving nothing behind. Then you take them home, feed them, water them and LET THEM SLEEP. Oh yeah, there's school tomorrow!
