We appreciate you being a part of the success!  Volunteers are needed to build, sew, help sell spirit wear, work concessions at football games (playoffs too!), drive trucks, chaperone, move props, load and unload equipment, feed the 300+ band kids, plan events, and so much more!

Participation with the boosters is voluntary, but we strongly encourage you to get involved for many reasons including:  

​

1. It’s a great way to meet other parents in your section!

2. The kids really appreciate you being there for them!

3. Because we truly need your help!

4. You will support a great organization by spreading the load!

5. The list goes on and on…

During the year, it literally takes thousands of volunteer hours to help the band run.  The  majority of the help is needed during the fall football/marching season.  To make things a little easier, we’ve broken down each volunteer position so that you can see where you might fit in the best. Please don’t forget to submit your RRISD Volunteer Application!  This needs to be done each year before volunteering and only takes 3-5 minutes.  IMPORTANT - when you are volunteering for the band during regular school hours, please be sure to sign in through the RAPTOR system in the main office.
